After several of his co-stars talked about Jared Leto's "terrible" gift, the actor lashed out in a new interview, saying they could "kiss my fuck".

Jared Leto now says he was just joking when he said that he sent his suicide squad co-stars daunting gifts-including "anal beads" and "used condoms."

"99.9% of what people read is nonsense," he told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday, adding that "unused condoms".

According to the New York Post, he continued: “Any one of the very few gifts ever given is full of fun and adventurous spirit, and received with laughter, fun and adventurous spirit.”

"I'm playing a person called the clown, and it's okay to make a joke. Nothing crosses any boundaries, and no one else on the Internet can create these boundaries."

Viola Davis, who played government agent Amanda Waller in the superhero movie, was the first to talk about Leto's unusual gifts on set.

After that interview, the 49-year-old Leto himself confirmed on the red carpet with E! The news also gave his teammates "anal beads" and "used condoms".

"I know this is a family show, but we can educate people here. At least they are used," he said, before adding that he sent them to "everyone."

The Martian Thirty Seconds singer said that he "did a lot of things" to "create a surprise, spontaneous element, and really break the many walls that may exist."

"A clown is a person who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries," he concluded.

Although it is now claimed to be a joke, his co-star at the time also confirmed these strange gifts.

Will Smith, who plays the dead shooter, told E! When he received the used condom, his thought was, "Jared is crazy."

"He really set the tone," the French Prince Bel Air star added. "He didn't play with it. He died seriously. As an actor, he was very involved, and he was 100% involved in this role."

Margot Robbie also confirmed that she received the contraceptive pill and told E! She received "so many weird things".

"I can't even start telling you the weird things I got," the actress who played Harley Quinn in the movie. "By then, I kind of felt that I knew a little bit about Joker, so it wasn't that shocking."

Leto told EW on Tuesday that he only gave 31-year-old Robbie a "cupcake" and a "mouse" and reiterated that he and his partner were "just kidding."

"After all, I am an artist," he said. "If I do something adventurous and you don't like it, basically, you can kiss my sex."
